Very well said Sir! Thanks to the group for taking time out to spread this rules, a lot of runners are guilty of this especially rule #5..Sunday Warrior
this is a nice post as i usually mention such etiquette of running in my running lectures/clinics. i hope this is a must-read for all newbies. even running coaches should be able to teach their students about this etiquette.
Thanks for the post!Probably we can have this printed on a tarp and post it somewhere by the entrance at Ultra. (Naku, just came fresh from a running workout @Ultra. Almost lost my balance when I had no choice but to bump a girl thrice my size as I squeeze b/w them at lane 1, another girl kinda cursed me after I slightly touched her arms so I can squeezed in...glad that no one dared grab my ponytail --- this is despite shouting lane 1 and excuse me)
@anonymous - I am sure Jinoe will handle linkage on takbo.ph forum page one of these days (calling Jinoe).
@sundaywarrior - Thanks its for all of us.
@BaldRunner - Please feel free to use it during your talks to corporate groups regarding running.
@gingerbreadman - sorry about that Luis, details were provided by Jinoe, I hope we could correct before the first printing if not then on subsequent printing.
@tin - your idea is great Tin. The main purpose of the compilation is to benefit the running community as a whole. If you have a contact that could print it on tarp and post it at Ultra then by all means please do so, it would have served its purpose. Feel free to make use of it. FYI we are running the first 2000 copies which Takbo.ph will program to distribute on races.
@RunningAtom - the guide does not concentrate only on the said issue which we hope would be seen on the good light for the benefit of all.
Great blog post!
ReplyDeleteI hope that this can be linked with the Takbo.ph forum page.
